22 ar's
Sir I very new to 22 ar's. I'd like to ask if this is okay.
http://www.ruger.com/products/sr22Rifle/index.html
or what brand do you think is good.
Heard that colt's doesnt like armcor bullets. I want something that feeds well with a cheap amo.
Please advise.

I don't know if that's readily available here in the Philippines yet, but since Twin Pines is the official Ruger dealer I guess they would be the first people I'd contact. Lookout for their pricing though.
If you're looking for a reliable semiauto .22lr why not check out the 10/22 or those Marlin Semiautos? I've had both and they're reliable with Armscor. Just avoid the Thunderbolt, its a very DIRTY 22lr round.

Have seen this actually from Lock and Load. Was told that this is around 35k.
Will look for Marlin as you have said. Thanks.

Armscor has a 10/22 clone. Surely, the armscor ammo will work in them.

I hope this isn't against forum rules, but go over to rimfirecentral and EVERYTHING about .22's you can think of is there...and if it isn't, then some of the members there are true industry experts who can help you out!

sa totoo lang, armscor rifles perform very well.
might not have as many doodads available as say ruger has, but if you can be happy with a local brand, armscor gets the job done.
my experience mostly from rentals and borrowing, personally all i've owned in 22 is a golden 39 from marlin which in my book is the best lever action 22 money can buy.

A dream build of mine is a dedicated .22lr upper for my 5.56 Noveske. Now if only the panic buying will slow down so the components will be available again.
Or perhaps some enterprising store will bring in complete CMMG or Chiappa uppers?

mas accurate yun dedicated .22lr barrel. yun mga conversion sabog na grouping sa 50m & up. although yung conversion ko with an elisco barrel mga less than 2inches naman grouping sa 50m. tumatama na sa mga 3x3 in plates out to 30-50m

Ahh.. Copy doc.
Ano bang rifle twist ang ideal? Mukhang sablay ang barrel ko. 14.5 yung sakin 1/7 twist. Chrome lined. Sablay ba 'to doc?
Thanks.

.22lr dapat 1/16 twist rate. elisco 1/12 twist rate so mas maganda gamitin for .22lr
your gas port will be blocked by .22lr lead pag madalas mo gamitin. kuha ka nalang elisco barrel or try mo itong mod na ito.
meron taga mindanao gumawa ng adapter sleeve for the stock ruger 10/22 barrel to fit into the ar upper. tapos bumili siya ng airsoft barrel sleeve nilagay nya sa loob yung ruger barrel. presto dedicated .22 AR na!
ang galing!
