Dan's bike shop has a LARGE na Specialized EPIC Comp Carbon 29er(front is carbon, rear is alumni). 170k i think. net of discount :P good nadaw ang components accdng to my bike nut friend. hahahah.

we did a manila to mindanao RORO trip, bikes on car rack, occasionally stopping and biking to explore trails.

went through batangas, mindoro, iloilo, bacolod, dumaguete, dapitan, cotabato, and then davao.














most harrowing was 18km rough road stretch through some mountainous area of zanorte, napasubo talaga kami, the roads started out asphalted pero sa entrada lang pala.



distance covered on land combined bike and car about 1250kms (on bike alone mga 350kms lang), distance covered by boat about 220kms, total weight lost == 0 lbs. we eat like starved hogs, sampling what's good in every town we visit. the paklay in in a town before dumaguete is just fantastic!

oh yeah, we toyed with the idea of doing bikes all the way but we decided to bring a support vehicle, we're not that fit. hehe

yeah pag puno ang boat, sorry wait for the next one, and ang gulo ng systema...after batangas pier (which was convenient and very systematic) be ready for a most confusing experience as you go to a different office to pay arastre, then coastguard, then the boat fare, and the haphazard way they load you into the boats.
