What was your first brand-new, store-bought gun, when did you buy ir and how much did you pay?
Mine was a Remington 760 in 30-06, bought in 1974 at Value House in Bangor, Maine. I'd picked a lot of potatoes to pay for that bugger.... Think it was $119. Dad had to buy it (strawman?) as I was 16. No deer for me that year, but got one in '77.
