put a G22 on layaway.
Its a gen3 new with 3 mags. was looking for a G23. nope. the owner said those were the first ones to go. may chop it in the future to hold G23 mags. But only if things get back to normal.

I purchased a Gen 4 22 about a year ago and really like it. The only problem I have is that I don't shoot .40 very often (not a caliber preference, more of a $$$ issue) and was considering converting it to 9mm....but I think I'll just keep it's .40 configuration and hope to shoot it more in the near future.
I'm sure you'll be very pleased with the G22.....fine shooter!

Had one before should have kept it. But I wanted a .40 and the g27 was just too small.

also I was looking for a springfield Champion but that seems to be the hardest pistol to find lately. if they had a G30 id have gotten that. thinking of chopingthe grip to G23 length.

A 40-9 conversion barrel with 9mm magazines works fine and saves some money. Sometime .40 s&w ammo is more readily available around here than 9mm.

I have a 23, 22, and 27.... There is nothing better and more comfortable IMO than the 23.. I am 6'2 185 lbs and have normal size hands, so for me it's perfect. The G22 is huge. I have since sold the G 22 and picked up a G 30 with the money. But I still swear by my 23

I carried a G-22/27 combo as a Deputy, now the G-27 is bedside and the G-22 in the safe. A well worn G-23 is edc and well worth it.
