Concealed carry holster issue
I just bought a new Glock 26 and was wanting to know what is the best holster for concealing the G26 in the most comfortable manner..?? I was just upstairs trying different hip holsters I already have and am just not liking the way they fit or feel on me. I am 6'2 and 260lbs, I know ......a little too much right around the middle.....which makes hip carrying not as comfortable as I would like. I was wondering what you Glock 26 carry fans use and recommend ? What is the best out there..??

Two holsters stand out to me as the "best" and they are 1. The Bladetech Razor IWB, 2. The Galco Kingtuck. I'm much shorter and lighter than you and I can conceal and comfortably carry subcompact or compact Glock in either holster. The Bladetech is easier to don, and the Galco is a little easier to conceal. Look for those specific products and variants of the design.

As I type this I have been laying onThe couch watching hockey for three hours while my 15 month old naps on my chest wearing my g26 in a iwb. I suggest a company out of Buffalo . http://www.ritchieholsters.com
They are expensive $140-$160 but hand made in the USA.
They are designed to be worn at the 3'o'clock - 330-position.
Try moving the holsters you have back just off your hip.

In winter, I have always carried my 27, 23 or 17 in a Galco Miami Classic.

I am about your size and just picked up a White Hat holster in horsehide. I have tried many others and must say these hybrid style are very comfortable and conceal very well.
Most say they take a couple of weeks to break in, mine was about a day and a half to find that sweet spot. It rides at about 3:00-3:30 and disappears.

Try a Ramora #6 and put it in your back pocket. Holster is padded and you don't even know it's there.

Crossbreed supertuck on the hip IWB, or Raven Vanguard2 appendix carry. I also like comptac 2 Oclock, but the raven or crossbreed are my goto edc holsters for the 26

I'm about your size and carry a G-27.
I find a SOB holster is very comfortable for me.
I have a Galco and a less expensive one from Ray's Holster (Shado) in Fla.

I have spent many hours looking for a Holster for my G-30 for CCW & have been really disappointed until I was steered to the Ramora #6. Fantastic Holster. If you need one give it a try. Very reasonable price. I even got the one with the sweat cover. You will be surprised! I love it!

Very happy with my High Noon stuff... (nice to see people actually posting about them here nowdays)...
1. It's very difficult to really offer a suggestion, when you didn't even mention what type of holster you tried and didn't like.
2. What type of belt are you using? If you are not using a GUN BELT (ie, not a JC Penny, Wal Mart or "thick belt I got a tractor supply"). If you don't have a quality belt, it's very possible your belt is the issue, not the holster.

I carry a G29 using a Glocktech MIC holster. I'm a big boned guy (read: fat) and have yet to be uncomfortable carrying it IWB.

I'm a big guy and carry my G23 in a Galco M5X http://www.usgalco.com/HolsterPG3.as...=3225&GunID=49 Since it is a OWB paddle, if it does hit you wrong when sitting, it is easy to shift to a more comfortable spot. It conceals very well for me. Not sure if you want IWB or OWB, I may have missed that.
Oh, and these can be bought for $20 local retail.

Here's my trusty gen 3 in a horsehide, combat-cut White Hat. It's a clone of the Supertuk, but with a shorter delivery time and a bit cheaper. No issues.
BTW: the extra leather below the muzzle works well when I slip my G19 in it once in a while.
