Any favorite commercials this year?
The Dodge commercial, with Paul Harvey narrating "So God made a farmer" really pulled at me, but then again, I have some personal bias in this one.
One of the early Doritos "guy and a goat" made me laugh.
Anyone else?

The one where a runner tackled a cheetah cracked me up.

Audi's commercial was good, Budweiser with the colt was good. Nothing very memorable overall.

The car commercial with the baby and mama wolf was pretty funny.
Not too many other good commercials like the SB is normally known for this year, maybe not enough businesses bought in or something? I say this because 85-90% of all the other commercials was CBS pluggings about how good of a news cast they have, or what new shows/episodes of shows are coming up. Kinda bugged me but oh well.....

So God Made a Farmer. I can remember as a kid eating lunch at my Grandparents house and Grandma would listen to the noon church sermon and then Paul Harvey. And now you know...the rest of the story.

For me it was the Time Warner/AMC Walking Dead that cracked me up laughing.
Darryl's cameo was super funny. "You clean this up". "Yes m'am"

I saw it online and played it over and over, crying. It was so darned sweet. I still miss my first horse.
The "So God Made a Farmer" was really good, too. Having grown up in the Midwest, it just struck me as so true. Farmers and farm wives are the most dependable people I've known.

Audi Prom spot and Farmer spot......Grandparents had a working farm and I learned alot from them. I drove everything at 13 and loved all the animals huge to small.

overall nothing memorable
other than the lights going out .
Standouts--Tide,Budweiser and Hyundai,
Busts--Mercedes, Audi, Doritos
Seems like the commercials are continually being dumbed down to appeal to 13 year old boys--as if they were buying something.
Does anyone remember as many movies being advertised and CBS TV programs. Made me think they had a hard time selling the time..
