Newtown was a horrific tragedy. 20 children and 6 adults lost their lives. As horrible as it was, let's put these numbers into a little perspective. In Chicago, in 2010, 66 school age children were shot and killed...over 300 in the last 4 years.

Let me repeat that again. OVER 300 school children were shot and killed in Chicago over the last 4 years. Over a thousand more were shot but didn't die.Of those, over 85% were African-American or Hispanic. I don't recall Obama parading any of these families on stage. Only children from affluent white neighborhoods are worthy of our time?

Obama was an Illinois State Senator from 1997 to 2004, and an Illinois US Senator from 2005 to 2008. During those years, there were 6500 murders in the city of Chicago. 6500 murders. Six thousand, 500 people MURDERED.

During this entire period, Chicago has a zero tolerance policy to civilian gun ownership. NOONE is allowed to own guns. ANY guns. No handguns, no shotguns, no "assault rifles", no hunting rifles, NOTHING.

Let's divest ourselves of politics for a moment. This clown banned all guns in a city and 6500 people were murdered. How foolish does Obama think the people in America are that he would propose this same plan at the national level? Pretty foolish apparently.

What do you do after you've banned ALL the guns and 6500 people still get murdered? I don't know...why doesn't someone ask our brilliant POTUS? Seriously. Someone. Anyone.

Just the facts, that should be plain to see, show no proof of the efficaciousness of any of the proposals. The only thing they stand on is hopes and wishes and theories that are contradicted by real-world examples.

This fight has nothing to do with facts. We have at least two generations in this Country who do not know the difference between their feelings and facts.

You want perspective? Obesity kills over 300,000 people per year in this country. That is how many Sandy Hook Elementary massacres every day?

That is 20 times more than all murders combined. That is 10 times more than all suicides.
