Hi fellow HK addicts

I am finally getting the 45c that I have been chasing forever. We finally got our shipments in from HK after a long dry spell

I am peeling the one and only 45C right off the top before I put them out for the feeding frenzy. I have 9 P30's and P30L's as well as some NIB 45 USP's. Again only ONE 45c so ..

anyway I need a good holster for her...I CCW all my guns OWB on the right side. I think I would prefer kydex for this one, all my 1911s go in leather from El Paso Saddlery.



Any ideas ?? I heard M-Tac or something is popular for this model..any more info on that ?? thanks again.

I actually like ballistic nylon holsters.
But the holsters I have for my P30 and P2000.
Fit my HK45C perfectly.

All three are close in size to me.
IMHO, far as carry is concerned,
feels like - small to large would be;
S) P2000
M) HK45C
L) P30
XL) HK45

How is the LEM for HK USP weapons? Never liked the DA/SA in the least but always wanted to try a LEM and have always liked the 45C

I like the slide style holsters, it's kydex,OWB and attached by belt not paddle which I hate, and if I add a threaded barrel later on it will still be GTG..

All five of my HKs are Light LEM
1 P30 40
2 P2000 357
1 P2000Sk 40
1 HK45C

The HK45C is my favorite of the bunch.
Although I shoot DA/SA well.
I much prefer LEM.
My HK45C was bought DA/SA and converted.

I have a HK45CT threaded barrel for my HK45C.
That little bit of extra barrel makes the gun less comfortable to carry for me.
The HK45C, for me, is down right perfect in size for a carry gun.

If you have ever fired a Para with LDA or a Sig with the DAK trigger how would you compare those to the LEM?

Raven Phantom - can convert from OWB to IWB in less than a minute. The clones will serve just as well for most folks.

Be advised that most P30 holsters will fit the HK45c as well.

I am a big fan of Sidearmor's kydex IWB. I would probably look at their OWB if I was in the market.

I haven't, sorry.
My only other DOA gun is a Kahr MK40 Elite.
Although HK LEM is technically DAO - it's unique.
HK uses a two hammer system.
The internal hammer cocks with the slide and stays chocked.
The external hammer is DOA and always decocks without a decocker.

The result is like a Glock with a 3.5 connector.
Except miles more pre-travel.
A long light pre-travel.
Then a distinct wall. Followed by a crisp clean break.

It's more like a modified SA with miles of pre-travel in terms of action.
I really like the long pre-travel on a carry gun.
With a hard primer you get standard heavy DA second strike.
For carry it's my favorite trigger.

The holster I have come to like is the Galco King Tuck for IWB. I also have the Milt Sparks VMII, which is nice. MTAC's and Crossbreed Super Tuck's are also great.
