I have a Gen4 G19 with ser# xxx000. Purchased in June 2012. I bought it for my daughter and can always tell hers from mine with the 000 ser #.

One out of every thousand should be xxx 000 and another one xxx 001 and xxx 777 ...etc.
Still, I like serial numbers that are memorable in some way.
I have one that is A0005000 that I like and one that is xx1066 (Battle of Hastings).
I am going to see if I can manage to snag a stripped .308 ar lower from a manufacturer that should be coming up on serial number xx1776. I really want that one.

My first Glock purchase was a Glock 26. Got it home...shot it...didn't realize for a little while that it was a 777.
Like you said, not really rare, but its my carry piece and my "lucky Glock." I'll never sell it. Its in my avatar currently.

I have a gen-3 G22 with a SN of VGN000...bought it on consignment at a local gun shop ( a cop friend of mine was the original owner). He shot 1 box of ammo through it and decided he wanted one with a built in laser
It still seems odd they would start a production run with 000..oh well, cool number tho.

Anyway, S&W was happy with me (and a few other guys from the Firearms and Tactics Section) and they sent us our revolvers as I described mine to you.
For the record, the gun has sat for the last 25 years in its mahogany case, never even opened the cylinder!

hmmm. That looks very very very familiar.

Glad to see other people besides myself look at unusual serial numbers. As I have said in prior posts I won an OD G17in a GSSF indoor match that started with KEN, which happens to be my name.

When I got my 24 the dealer opened the case to double check it and there was that moisture pattern from the eggcrate foam and he said "this one's got a weird mark on the slide, lemme get you another one". When he said that, it made me look at the slide, and fortunately I did cause I noticed it was a 000. I said "no that ones fine, I like the s/n" he looked at me a little weird, then I showed him the "mark" he was talking about wiped right off.

Glock 30 with 000 SN
Hi Glock Talk,
First post and I just bought my first Glock. Bought a Glock 30 S.N. CYC000US.
The real cool thing is my brief research shows November 1998 may have been the first month of 3rd. Generation Glock 30 production.
Could I have one of the first, if not the first, 3rd Gen. G30's?

We had a G17 in our armory marked LCE666, no one would use that pistol.

I am also looking for SN# RLJ202, or RLJ713, CNJ625, or DAJ517 if anyone has one of them. I don't care what model, I will pay or replace with new or we can come to an agreement.

Believe it or not I owned this gun, traded it to Braverman's in Wilkensburg PA. It's cool to see it pop up on the boards.
It's a gen2.5 BTW
Here's a pic of it.

Recently picked up a 12/2012 built G21 gen4 with an "000" s/n.
In the same shop, they had it's sister "001" right next to it. I wish to hell I could have gotten both!

I've got a gen 4 21 with 000.....its not quite a year old. It was a replacement for my gen 3 picatinny gun warranty. I also have sequential gen 4 17s....but that is a different thread.

FWIW, I have NUM666, as in "number 666." It shoots just fine.
