Neighbor murdered 2 hours ago

Maybe 100 yards down the street, 18 year old guy was backing into his driveway, someone walked up and shot him 3 times. News states Paramedics started CPR enroute to the trauma center where I worked. Trauma leading to CPR has a 0% survival rate. Glad I live in the safe part of El Paso! My family in New England think I'm nuts for owning and carrying my G19.

Well that certainly is bizarre. Will be interesting to see what the motive was.

El Paso has always made me feel wary when I would travel there...but then again, I feel wary everywhere I go. It's an ugly world.

News confirmed he died (no surprise). Obvious "hit." It'll be about gangs (Azteca and Los Zetas claim this area by grafiti) or drugs, or both. Too close to home for comfort, though. Time to find a room elsewhere I guess.

All the more evidence/reason to keep the G19 with you at all times, my friend.

Be safe.
