the point is, the poster I as responding to seemed to lave the impression the we are more divisive today than in some "good old days" in the past, which is a crock. we have generally been divided in this Country along racial, religious, cultural and geographic lines for most of the Country's history, just about like every other Country that is multicultural, simply human nature.
I know a lot about it. As a Scot/German/Indian/Redneck I had to give up drinking 'shine. I'd get drunk, put on a kilt and war paint, grab a Mauser rifle and start marching towards Paris.

The people who lives on that kind of couch could be found in Eastern part of KY. Maybe it is a Hillibillies' thing.

Lol!
Not quite... It's easiest in Tapatalk to follow a thread if I've participated. And I do intend to follow this thread. My family resembles several jokes so far and the rest is indeed pertinent to my interests.

BTW - Eric, I don't mean to be a touchy-feely crybaby pansy, but what if I find the term redneck to be offensive??? I take great panty wadding, er, um... I mean, I take great offense to this thread. Redneck is OUR word. We can use it but you people can't. You Yankee cracker.
Ok. Just kidding. Carry on...

Masswholes are far more annoyin den yer average Redneck. The accent alone is screeching. And I LIVE HERE! Dear lord. It sounds like some of them ahh wickit retahdid.
The funniest is the Cali accent that SNL is using now. Watching Christina Applegate say "Buh. . . Nahnahz!" was pretty funny. But after a 5 min skit, I hope no one else EVER talks like that.

I was born in Arizona, raised in Texas and live in Texas now. The only time I have ever spent in the north, Uncle Sugar was paying me to carry a gun. So keep your touchy away from my feely, you backwoods hick. Eric

Jeff Foxworthy joke.
Sophisticated people buy insurance policies.
Rednecks buy lottery tickets.
Now the painful part.
When my mom died we found a small box that was labeled Insurance. It contained two identical stacks of Idaho State lottery tickets. One to pay out to me and one for my sister.

I've had a rooster in my bathtub for the last three days. I guess I should stop pretending to be something I'm not...

Around here it's woodchucks, nasty things. Beaver is scarce and I hear they bite lower.

What a coincidence... I've visited NYC and a few other northern places, and the only way you'd get me back there is if you paid me, and even then I'd damn sure want to carry a gun. I much prefer the West or the South...
You're a Texan, so you're good people. I take back that Yankee Cracker comment - the Yankee part, at least.
If you could see where I grew up... we had to drive an hour out just to get TO the backwoods...

If you keep a rooster in a bathtub, which is inside your home and working, you might be a redneck.

What's a woodchuck? Is that some invasive species from China?
