HST Now for Non LE
http://youtu.be/yqrj8fY4N-c
It is nice that it will be available for sale to non LE. However I suspect you are looking at 20rd boxes only thus probably $1+ a round.
I will still buy 50rd boxes online as long as I can.

They have always said one day the restriction will be lifted. However the 20 or 50 round box seems to remain a mystery. Either way I doubt much will be available this year.

I've never had trouble getting HST. But glad to see it's "officially" non-LE available now.

How long has it been out now? Five or six years?

I started selling it in the Classic line back in 2003. It was recalled shortly after that and returned in June of 2004 under the Premium line. In 2007 it was moved to the Tactical line.

Run a box through your gun check for POA and function and then load your mags with the 2nd box. Far better to spend one's money on solid range ammo that duplicates your defensive ammo's ballistics. Better yet, reload.

A friend of mine goes to gunshows in Virginia, and picks up 9mm, .40 S&W and .45 acp Federal HST in boxes of 50 rounds for me.
Two weeks ago, the 9mm and .40 was $25.00 per box of 50 and the .45 acp was $27.95 per box of 50.
In Maryland. . . . . I only see 20 round boxes.

The morning after the election I bought 300 rounds of .45 acp 230 gr. HST for $31.95 a box/50 online from Ammunition To Go and thought it was expensive. I just check and they still have the +P version for $42.95/50. I also scored 600 rounds of Remmington GS 230 gr. Bonded that day for $28.10/50. Just saw it on CTD for 49.99/50!!!
