Shotgun Light

Mas,
I'm considering using my Remington 870 Tactical as my primary home defense firearm, or in conjunction with my G22. Do you recommend installing a light on the 870 (Magpul MOE forend installed)? I keep a Surefire flashlight on the nightstand for use with my G22, but I don't know how I could use this flashlight with the 870. I think I need a seperate light attached to the 870. Your opinion would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,
Jim

Welcome to Glock Talk, Jim.

I give the light mounted home defense shotgun a big thumbs up, but remember, its function is to verify the threat before the trigger is pulled. Using in as a searching light means you're pointing a loaded gun at everything you look at, and in the home defense context that's A Bad Thing.

best,
Mas
