Current carry consist's of a G19 in a JM Custom AIWB or a Shaggy. Reload in a CCC BMC, ESEE fixed blade at 11 o'clock in a DSG sheath, Surefire EB1 in back rear pocket next to wallet, Blackhawk Crucible in front right pocket. Belt is a Volund Gearworks Atlas. Plus key's and cell phone. Sounds like a lot, but it's really not.

I used to carry a Ruger Sp101 .357, but now mainly carry a Ruger LCP, on colder days a Glock 30SF. But I'm trying to trade or sell the Ruger LCp for a Glock 26 or 27.

Sounds kinda parallel to my journey. Carry a G22 @ work and used to carry an SP101 OD. Switched to G27 OD. Also have an LCP, which is a good jogging/biking piece. Get the subcompact Glock but keep the LCP.

I really want to keep the LCP because it is so versatile and tiny, I can conceal it anywhere anytime and it is a great backup gun to compliment my ankle. But it's just the lack of funds as I am a college student. :( I think I will keep the LCP, and save up, Probably will put my Ruger 10/22 rifle with a Nikon scope up hopefully I can sell it for 250, and put that towards the purchase of a sub compact Glock?

CZ-75 Sub-Compact for around town, or a Smith and Wesson 442. And for the woods in Spring to Fall a Smith and Wesson 629 44 magnum. And in the winter a Smith and Wesson 686 with a 2 inch barrel.

I'd hold onto that 10/22 if I was you. I bought the takedown model last summer, put a scope on it, & picked up a few bx-25 mags for a little over $400. Was skimming gunbroker last night and saw the same rifle going new for 600-700 & my $25 mags going for $75 each. Your 10/22 might be more valuable than you think

Wow really? I didn't expect that! I bought it new 2 or 3 years ago for $150, and got the Nikon scope for $100. I have 2 mags for it. I did not know it was worth that much! Thanks for the heads up!

Here in Fla., even in the t-shirt/shorts weather we have nearly 85% of the year, a Glock 30 is hard to beat.
And, if I have to present arms as it were, they know this old seccesh is not foolin'!

In addition to my Glock 30, depending on the weather or need for a little deeper cover, I also like my SW 642 w/LSWCHP, front pocket carry, backed up with my KelTec P32 w/ one Corbon HP in the pipe and one CHP first up in the magazine backed up w/ hot hardball in a wallet holster.

Or, with my Glock 26 IWB DPX w/ KelTec P32 weak side IWB. 5 and 8 o-clock carry respectively. Long t-shirt cover.

Things vary here in the Gunshine state my little chickadees, and with a gun friendly state and city government.....it shore ain't the PRoNY!

Sounding the Rebel Yell!

He was with his wife and four year old twin boys and this in a major anti gun city too....He loves that 238 even more now.

Both. Usually an auto, but often a wheelie. And many times my wheelie is BUG to my auto.

1. G19(Gen3)
2. CZ 75 Compact
3. Ruger LC9
4. Ruger SR9C
5. Steyr S9-A1

Not neccessarily in that order.

My newest; easier to carry than my 642, easier to shoot well, and carries more firepower.

Glock 26's

Just stumbled on a pair of 26's at the PX. Bought them both, only because they were Gen 4's and they were on sale for $499 each. Now I have w little brother for my Gen 4 G22....

Colt Government Mark IV .380 is my all the time EDC, if I leave the house it is on my person. I intend to replace it with a Sig Sauer 238 at some point when the money is right, essentially a copy of the Mark IV.

Perversely, my favorite way to carry is with a Galco fanny pack, when outdoors in the woods it is protective of the weapon, easily accessible, and distributes the weight to the point I forget it is there. I am usually also wearing a tool belt on the opposite side so I'm more conscious of the tool belt than the carry rig.

I've tried 3 different Kel Tecs (too light and kicky to be accurate and frankly too problematic to trust to fire every time, while great for EDC just no good past 15') a Bersa Thunder .380 (GREAT range pistol, just a bit too big and heavy for EDC, really want to try out a 9mm Ultra), a Ruger LCP (while light and more accurate than the Kel Tecs, worse trigger ever) and an AMT Backup .380.

The AMT took a lot of polishing of the slides to get it to run reliably and have to use PennLube heavy grease as well. It was my EDC for the past few months, as the Colt has a lot of sentimental value as well as no small amount of actual value and I bought it so the Colt could stay in the safe.

What I finally decided was, for me, nothing compares to the Colt in terms of reliability, accuracy, and weight. Yeah, some are lighter, some are as accurate (Bersa) and some are as reliable (NOT Kel Tec) but today it is the total package.

KT pf-9. People love to hate them, but they are small, light, and mine has never missed a beat.

Either a G-21 in a Raven Vanguard II or a compact Rock Island Arms 1911 in a Versa Carry.

Man, I would love to find a good one. I've only tried one PF-9, and it was brand new out of the box. We tried 3 different types of ammo, some hardball reloads I'd bought, Speer hollow points (what the owner had bought on the recommendation of the salesman that sold him the pistol) and a box of Winchester white box flatnose we bought at the range after issues with the other two types. We couldn't get anything to cycle past two consecutive rounds, had both FTE and FTF problems, and none could get better than 6" groups at 21'.

I've tried two other small Kel Tecs, in .380 and .32, can't remember the models but both were well broken in rental guns. They fed fine with ammo provided by the range, functioned fine but still had multiple FTF with both. A simple pull of the slide solved the problem every time but as I said before, just too light for my rookie skills as far as repeatable control.

I am serious, would LOVE to find a good PF-9 or PF-11 (weighs less than the Colt and will not lose any sleep if it gets wet or scratched), for the higher punch in 9mm vs. .380. I'm going to keep looking, most of the pawn shop finds in those models are ridiculously overpriced right now (have seen them as high as $350) for condition.
