good thing you got a glock then huh.of the ammo that i can find at my gun shops .45acp is on the low end for price, that being said all there is is .45acp 10mm and .357 sig and then odd ball calibers.
I ALSO LOVE MY BLOCKY G30!!!

are those Talon grips? I just bought some Talon grips for my G30sf and they don't look like those. in the rear there is no flap going up from the bottom rear up the back strap like these picks. I wonder if they changed them. my Talon grips for my 23 and 27 has the rear flaps.

I just bought G30sf last week for a house gun. after shooting it I started carrying it in a M-Tac holster that was for my 23. I really like this gun, it carries much better than I thought it would and it shoots great. I have looked at these for a few years and always said it was too thick and heavy for me, now its becoming my favorite Glock.
I also thought a 27 grip was to small and the recoil would be too bad until I bought one. now its my favorite summer carry gun.

I was thinking about getting a G30. But this thread has taught me that buying a G30 makes a person un-able to read.

Didn't think much about those short barreled Glocks until I saw Hickok45 on YouTube make that 80 yd gong sing with his G30 & G26/7s...I can't wait to get to the range with mine only thing holdin' me up is a temporary state of impecuniousness. expected to last until April...I've got some 200 gr reloads that run great in my 1911s that I'm itchin' to try in the G30 & G21. Shot mu bud's 30 & 36 - he tried to get me to go with the 36 instead but couldn't see the sense of a gun with one less round (in a standard mag) than a 1911...only advantage there (to me) is the safe system of the Glock - can keep one in the pipe without concern

Gen 3 G30 is my EDC. 75 out of 100 in the 10-ring at the range. The rest in the 8- and 9-ring. Not bad.

The G30 is the one Glock which has always been in my handgun stable, no matter what else I owned.

Couldn't wait for Glock to "come up with a 30S so I (did what many others have done and) put a 36 slide on a 30SF frame some years back and it is a great combo. The 36/30sf shoots every bit as good as the 30 but fits nicely in any holster that fits a 9mm or .40 Glock. Its also lighter than the stock 30.
I can't wait to put my hands on a 30S!!
BTW -- hello...

Yes, it is Talon grips on my G30SF. I ordered them about 2 years ago directly from Talon. If they changed their design, I was not aware of it.

My G30 is my EDC. Gen3 none of that Sissy Frame (SF) stuff either... Just kidding. Actually, I have bigger hands so the regularly sized model fits me better.
I love having 21 rounds (spare mag) of +P 45 JHP
