I guess that that makes sense. There are likely a lot more 9mm out there.

A wasted vote is still a wasted vote, regardless o red or blue. A protest vote is fine, I could make one here to, CA was never going Rep, but the mindset of backing a loser candidate to make a protest vote is childish in many ways & destructive to the big picture, whcih was to deny Obama s 2nd term. So sure, your losertarian vote didn't matter either way in GA, but in several states it certainly did. Hence Obama & all the crap that will come w/ a socialist not running for re election. Thanks.

I think you are mad that your state voted for Obama and my state voted for Romney.
I don't know what you are talking about when you rant about a "protest vote" or "childish".
I voted for the candidate on the ballot that I supported. I believe that is the point of voting. If you believe otherwise, and wish to use your vote differently, then do so. But could you please stop trying to be a dictator who thinks he can tell other people how to use THEIR vote?
It's my vote and I will use it however the **** I want.

I don't know either of you... I don't spend too much time at GT anymore and so I miss a lot of what is going on. But I just wanted to say to Warp that I commend you for your stance on this subject. There is, in my opinion, absolutely nothing wrong, and everything right about voting your conscience. I wish that there were more Americans like you, Sir. Thank you.

And if it is Christie vs Cuomo... the loser will again be the American people. I think that so many people ONLY think about either the right wing or the left wing and they forget that the right wing and the left wing are on the same damn bird!
Choosing between either of those two or this last two is akin to choosing if you wish to die of aids or cancer. Either one sucks unbelievably. The largest cash contributor to both Romney AND Obama was Goldman Sachs. Both of them were put into those positions so that whoever won, the same agenda would continue forward. The elites OWN both the republicans and the democrats. and saying that I have to vote for X because a vote for anyone else is a vote for Y. That is nothing more than being controlled by your fears. And I know that I will be attacked for saying these things and that is just fine. You can repeat whatever talking points that you have had drilled into by Faux, by rush, by hannity or whomever you listen to. And the same can be said for the idiot talking heads of MSNBC and their clowns. But think about this, both sides keep their people in line by using fear. That way, no matter what kind of idiot they put up, they know that their mindless minions will do what they are told to do. This country is so polarized right now and they intend to keep it that way. This once great Republic has been hijacked and it has been made into an empire. And every empire has always gone the same way. We are so far gone now that I cannot see any other way that we can get out of the mess that we are currently in. There is one thing...remember how bad the economy of Iceland became. They declared bankruptcy, they arrested the international banksters and their willing accomplice politicians and now they are actually doing really great. Perhaps that is a path that we might be able to take. I really don't know. What I do know or feel is that if there is a way out of this giant mess, it won't be the republicans or the democrats that finds it, no, instead of those crooks, it will be Americans who quit hating and fearing each other and work together to find our way back into the light. I pray that Great Spirit will lead us all back onto the proper path. Ho.

Right, that's it. You are right, vote the way you want, live with the consequences, just sad the rest of us have to. BTW, not dictating anyhting, stating my opinion. Still a free country. If that offends you, check out, don't respond. There must be some truth to the wasted vote thing or you wouldn't be so upset??

ACtually it's not, another one coming up in 14. This is all politics though isn't it? My point, your vote matters. Vote poorly, we get what we get. All this could/would have been avoided if everyone got behind NOT electing Obama instead fo all the happy feeling voting or not voting that went on.

I'd just like to read a statement by someone who values the US Constitution honestly say he/she is happy with the outcome of last November's election.

It wasn't a protest vote. You either need to learn how to read or you need to stop lying.
PS: I would like to read a statement by someone who values the US Constitution honestly say s/he would have been happy with the outcome of the election had Romney won.

At some point, I will be gone, already have property, but unless the govt is going to pay me to not work, like it does all it's employees, I am stuck here for awhile. It's not like I chose to move here, that was myparents doing. Yes I do choose to stay here for now & that is the decision I have to live with. At least I know how to vote. I thought people in GA were smarter than that.

Since my primary CCW is a Glock G26 (10 round) and a Keltec PF9 (7 round) I don't see this as being an issue. I am happy with the effectiveness of my self defense load (Federal HST 124g) It expands to ~0.7" diameter and is totally reliable and very controllable. I am able to make fast, accurate followup shots with it.

I got started during the first AWB, so most of my first 9mm mags were 10-rounders. At the time, the biggest reasons I went with 9mm were cost and ease of shooting. I've got 9's and .45's now, but 9mm is still cheaper to reload or buy.

Fair enough, you voted for the candidate you supported. But I agree with fred ...

Sure, if you voted for anyone but Romeny, like it or not, you voted for Obama, might as well voted for him directly. Fact.

Those who voted for Ralph Nader supported their candidate, and the Radical Left have never forgiven Nader for Bush's election.

I'd have been ecstatic had voters ousted Obama last November and put Romney in office.

Sig 239 in 40 might make a come back.... If all you can carry in NY (potentially other places) is seven rounds, or whatever the madness of their new laws state.
Two to the thoracic cavity and one to cranial ocular cavity with 9 mm will stop an attacker.

If I am forced to carry a 10 round mag my EDC would switch from my g19, to my newly acquired g23.
I will have to train more with the 23 if it comes down to it. I can shoot the 19 better, and faster right now.
