I'll believe it when I see it.
I do hope to see it, and soon.

Why don't you do some research and get back on that one?

IF this is true, IMO, I think there will be such a flood of AR-15's and AK's, the price might actually go down from where it was before this whole fiasco. But that's just me...

If the administration can put that over (for now) in the midst of all this anti-gun hysteria I'll be amazed.

Maybe I should sit in the parking lot of the LGS and offer customers ten cents on the dollar for any returns. Since the LGS won't do a return I will be there to help them out. Do you have any idea just how many newbie gun owners got into the market in the last 30 days and likely have no clue that they don't have a 90 days return policy?

Why don't you stop posting idiotic comments. Nobody takes returns on guns or ammo because you paid too much for it.

Pawn shops for fractions of pennies on the dollar, IF they're lucky.

There is a warranty for defects and repair, but I believe that most gun retailers have a no return policy. You buy a new gun, it becomes used when you take it out the store. So you can only trade it in or put it up for consignment sale.

Compromise on any gun control measure is like compromising with cancer cells.
We know where this leads.
They attack on a broad front, find something we are willing to compromise on, take it, wait and do it again and again, for decades if necessary until they get everything they want, which is of course the total disarmament of the people.
We will end up like the British, crime ridden, helpless and told constantly to fear everything but that our hard working government protectors are doing everything possible to protect us, they just need us to give up a few more liberties and it will all be better.

Agree! Compromise on NOTHING "compromising" = giving in to "incrementally" giving away tour rights a little bit at a time.

I was on a conference call with Bruce Reed from Biden's staff, with 500 other people who have signed gun-related petitions on We the People, on Friday: he seemed pretty intent on the AWB and magazine capacity limits, to the point that when nearly every commenter was against them he said the president was calling him and ended the call after about 25 minutes. I'm skeptical that they have seen the light.

Can anyone from Illinois confirm the 5 cent/cartridge ammo tax?
Did it pass?

we sure as hell don't...liability on ammo from an individual would be astronomical for a gun store. You buy a new gun it comes back a "used" gun

Thanks goodness it's from a reliable source.
Internet rumor aside, when Biden asked to meet with the NRA, that should have told us he knew didn't have the votes. Which is why he floated the trial balloon about executive orders.

If the antis manage to end FTF sales, it means the end of getting retail market value for your used guns.
You'll get whatever the smiling FFL dealer is willing to pay, wholesale, if anything.
Thus rendering many of your guns worthless.

Bet the storekeepers using their ARs and AKs during the King riots were happy to have 30 round mags as they kept the looters and rioters away. They took their positions from rooftops of businesses and homes to defend themselves. This was in the Korean community...how ironic is that? Do not compromise on standard capacity mags

Not true. I could see many getting a FFL to facilitate FTF sales for a nominal fee (or perhaps rely on donations to cover said FFL).
Hell, I'd think about doing it.

I can honestly say, what little mags i bought were at normal prices pre SH, except maybe ammo and what I bought was still reasonable for post-SH.

I certainly hope what the OP stated is true.
I do expect BHO to push the Executive Order 'envelope' just as far as he legally can.
I fully expect him to state a bunch of bovine scatology.
(I edited my post, because I don't want to give him any ideas, IF his cronies are reading this site.)

Why do ftf sales have to be outlawed? Call in and get an approval code just like we do in ct.
