Just bought a KT Sub2000
Was at the LGS looking for something else and saw a Glock mag'd 9mm Sub2k sitting there, and figured what the hell.
Cleaned + lubed it and ran about 800 rounds through it this morning without a hickup. Despite it's miniscule size, it shoulders and points very naturally for me, and was easily milk-jug accurate at 100 yards w/ the factory sights. Better sights + better ammo would make for better accuracy. Very quick to deploy, even from folded, and an amazingly small, light, and compact package. A person could easily carry this in a laptop bag or briefcase and no one would be the wiser, and it would greatly extend the reach of the person's normal carry firearm. The plastic parts had some flashing to be removed, but for a $329 rifle I don't expect much in the way of fit and finish. The mechanism is simple simple simple and only takes about five minutes to field-strip and clean.
Just a fun little plinker, and a good experience with my first Kel Tec product. If it proves to be reliable, it may stay in my truck permanently, as it's accurate enough for the occasional coyote and will take up almost no space. I already keep spare loaded mags for my Glock in the truck, and they'll fit the Sub2k just fine.
I'm glad I bought it.

Yep the little sub 2k is fun but 800 rds I have a .40 cal Glock model and it is a nice pairing with a Glock pistol.
They do seem to be very reliable and @ 4.5 pounds fairly packable like you said.
Enjoy !

Yep KTOG rocks. Tons of info there I agree. The sub porn forum is off the hook.
I will tell you one thing, if you shoot 800 rds of .40 cal S&W you are going to have bruise. The Sub2k delivers some recoil IMO.

I just got one too, 9 mm glock version. well thought of "rifle" - I still have a problem thinking of it as a rifle. the 30 rd glock mags come in handy.

Get the tacticool buffer pad. It reduces felt recoil by about 30%.

I have a 2K in 9mm. Fun. Uses G17 hicap magazines. Only useful to about 100 yards. Excellent camping/traveling rifle as it folds up and opens up quickly.

I bought some of the Chinese 33 rd 9mm mags for mine. I've run about 500 rounds through them with 0 problems. Going to order a few more. Nice thing to have on a trip, big laptop bag, rifle, 10-33 round mags, room for my 19C, with 8 mags, holster, knife, light, and a few other extras. Easy to carry and no one gives a laptop bag a second look!

I got one of the sub2k in 9mm Glock for my wife and I shoot it more than her. My wife never shot a gun before and her entire first mag was a 1.5 group at 25yds. w/crappy stock sights. We were both impressed with the cheapie $300.00 rifle. My buddy tried to convince me to buy a uzi or beretta storm, but you can't beat a sub2k for $300.00. I can buy two sub2k's and ammo for price of uzi/storm.

I just sold my 40S&W version. Accurate, reliable and fun, but I found myself not shooting it after buying a AK. If I were to do it again though, it would be in 9mm as that thing can eat some ammo!

Just a follow up.
That Sub2k has been my truck gun for the last year and a half or so, has had several thousand rounds through it, and has executed more than one coyote. No hickups, no goofs, it just works.
Well done, Kel Tec.
