It's not an exact copy of Hinderer's design. It's a case of he collaborated on a really good knife, but kept an even better design for himself.

It's a Benchmade Bedlam auto opener. A bit bigger than I thought it was going to be (giggity) but I like it so far. But I'm a Benchmade fan boy so....yah I'm excited.

It's been schtickied for a while. It got unschtickied and is now moving around to other pages. My opinion is that it should be permanently re-schtickied so I don't have to go hunting for it. I like looking at the new posts with photos.

This one, made by Mike Wilson, is one of my favorite fixed blades. It's made from a farrier's rasp.

Benchmades and Spydercos though the last ten years, though have been selling my Benchmades except for a 710 M2 and 705.

My EDC of choice is the Spyderco Manix 2 CF S90V.

Four ounces, cage ball lock, grippy and steel that is one of the best in the business.

Also at 3.5 inches legal in Colorado!

Perhaps the damn government wants to restrict my carry knives even more like they want to restrict my mag capacity... even with a fully legal CCW!

I usually carry a Schrade Multi-tool on my belt, and if I carry a folding knife around with me it is just a cheap $1.99 knife I buy at a convenience store. I have laid too many good knives down while working and forgot about them, and have had the police confiscate too many good folding knives, like Buck, Case, and Schrade, when stopped on my motorcycle. I still have my multi-tool checked by the cops when they stop me, but so far none have decided to make the roads and streets of NYS safer by taking it.

Same knife I carry. Very nice and a decent bargain at $70 or so online.
