New member from Texas!
Hello Everyone!
Just got my first ever handgun - a Glock 19 gen 4. Installed a Truglo fiberoptics/tritium site on it, and it works great! To get my wife involved, I also got a Ruger SR22, which is great for her small hands.
I got the Glock primarily for fun at the gun range, and also for self-defense. After all, we can never be too safe in the world nowadays. Still trying to figure out the best way for me to shoot accurately and quickly. It sure has been a fun process though.
It's hard to fathom that the tragedy in CN has made it impossible to buy additional Glock magazines. Heck, it's even difficult finding some 9mm FMJ ammo to use at the range. It's ironic how the gun control libs have helped the firearms industry to make TONS more money than they otherwise would be making.
In any event, I look forward to being a member of the forum. Shooting has been fun, and I'm now looking forward to getting a 1911 and perhaps a Walter PPQ (40). Recommendations are welcome!
I almost bought an assault rifle the other day just to spite the libs. LOL!
