Merry Christmas my friends. Much love to you all. God is truly good and awesome. I am sure HE will find a way to help me pay off my ticket and get new tags on my car by the end of the year. I am also praying he will convince the doctor to release me back to unrestricted work status soon so I can get another job and get insurance on my car. I pray the speeding ticket won't keep me from getting my insurance with the company I want to stay with. I look forward to a new year filled with new opportunities, a new job, new attitudes from my children and my landlord (and the dogs who have decided they are king and queen of the abode and I don't matter anymore). This are going to be great....everyone of us who have had issues this year are due for an awesome year and I am claiming it for us! God bless us all!

Happy 2013, everyone!
Here's hoping 2013 is a better year for all of you, than 2012 was for me. I'll just say that it was an epic suck year for me. Between losing friends on here, losing Jeff, one of the dearest friends I could ever imagine having, some things I've never mentioned here at all, Silent_Runner's issues, fighting my battle with cancer, I'll just say I'm glad this year is over. One good thig about this, is I can compare it to other years, and appreciate other years. Except the year I got shot, that is.

Kind of like on the internet forums - People continually flip someone off who they know is obligated to not break the rules in response. Yeah, usually that type of stupidity eventually yields the rewards that are earned.
And then there are those trying so hard to be offended that they're imagining things that haven't even been said in a thread.

LW, lately I've been thinking that we must be overrun with raccoons based upon the amount of seeds we are going through.

Yes, it's a turkey. I named her Lucy so I guess she can stay. I picked up 50 lbs of corn too. It's a lot cheaper than the sunflower seeds that I buy for the birds.

Too late for this one. I named her, so she stays!
She walked across the deck and looked in the patio door
a while ago.
There is a flock of six turkeys that walk around here at least once a day and clean up the bird seed shells. There have been two smaller turkeys that are by themselves. I think this is one of them. She has been alone the last three or so days.
So "Lucy" is now a pet.

She makes me cry...if she were white, she would look just like my baby I lost a little more than a year ago to a violent death. I miss her so much, I cry every time I think of her...like I am now.
