[Car 2217]

I purchased a new model 23 yesterday and am wondering if it is normal to have a bit of "wobble" in the slide at the front?

To be more precise, I can press downward on the front end of the slide (in either trigger forward or trigger back position) and get movement. It is slight but still definite movement.

Can anyone advise if this movement is normal?

First and foremost, congratulations on your new G23, and welcome to GT. Glocks are not known for tight tolerances. Which is why they'll run flawlessly even when you neglect to clean them. I'd say the movement you're questioning is no cause for concern.

Many thanks for the fast reply. It seems to return to the same place once racked which makes me think that the issue won't have an effect on the pattern either.
