Unconventional Speedloader pouches

Hey all...

Every now and then I like to go back "old school" and carry just a j-frame or two. Buddy of mine always carries two.

I have tried to find unconventional ways to carry a couple speed loaders without much success. Currently I am using a leatherman nylon sheath stacking a Safariland on top of and HKS which seems to work, but I prefer carrying one or the other which does not work well in this carry method.

Anyone have a method (other than pocket) to carry your speed loaders in other than a traditional pouch?

Have you considered a nylon smart phone (cell phone) carrier? They're very common and blend in to daily life as they are worn by many people. With the right phone carrier you might be able to tote up to fours j frame speed loaders.

Some of those pouches designed for pepperspray canisters might work - 1 speedloader on top of the 2nd speedloader.

They also make small camera cases.

Hide in plain sight

The size and shape of speed loaders makes them a tough nut to crack.
I can't really conceal them easily.
So camouflage/subtafuge is my preferred way to go.

I've used a camera case on a belt to hold triple speed loaders.

here is what im talking about. there are holster makers whom can make them any way you like for J frame on up and for different belt sizes as well.

Carrying two different types of SLs can trip you up. Injection on on my favored Comp series, vs. twist-to-release on HKS...no bueno. Putting one down into a flashlight or OC carrier would make it impossible to get hold of. Well, for the bottom one, anyhow.

What the obove poster showcased is how I roll. I was lucky enough to upon a couple in SafariLaminate in a 'junk box' on at a local dealer. Work like a champ.

speedloaders in an 'inside' jacket pocket or speed-strips is what I usually use

there are also a few types that make the speedloaders straddle the belt to stick out less.
