This. If I am doing my usual 5 miles over the speed limit and someone is completely riding my ass, I give the brakes a little tap or I slow down. This is my way of letting them know I don't appreciate it and I can annoy them as well.

Internal dialogue while reading this: 'what were you driving, that, while 'speeding', he was able to be on your bumper...in a JEEP.
Did he have one of those stickers that says "It's a Jeep thing, you wouldn't understand"? Maybe your situation is what those stickers are all about.
There are ordinances in many localities about following too close for safety, and of course if he ran into the back-end of your truck with the front end of his Jeep, he'd surely receive the citation.
I bet he'd have accepted if you offered him a beer, and you'd have a new special friend for life.

People get nuts sometimes especially in the boonies. I came around a turn on a dirt road after making a high speed run down it(we called it the baja road) and there was a guy parked across the road in an old dodge with a shotgun.
I locked up the tires did a crazy reverse escape/turn and he chased me at ridiculous speeds on a pubic road trying to pit maneuver me.
I know I went a little fast down the road, but that in no way justifies ambushing me with a shotgun....
