9 X 18 Hornady Critical Defense Ammo
A couple of weeks ago, I picked up a box of Hornady's Critical Defense ammo in 9x18 Mak. I have been e-mailing them and calling them for the past year and a half to make that ammo in 9x18. Haven't shot it yet, but just to let you PA-63 and Makarov owners aware, it is out there now.

I have two boxes and can't wait to get it to the range.
Let's compare notes.

It looks like a decent load, though I wish they'd load it a little hotter vs .380 ballistics.

Picked up another 2 boxes at the Medina show. Now to run 'em through the little EG.
Hopefully the supply won't dry up again making us wait till next years production run....

That's too bad. The standard Hornady XTP seems to be loaded pretty hot as compared to military Mak ammo.
