G30 (not SF). Good balance of size and capacity.

Actually, that's EXACTLY what I did this year --- chose only one Glock to be my ONLY gun for all purposes from here on, and I chose a Gen 4 Model 26. Reliable. Concealable. Accurate. Adaptable with all 9mm Glock mags. What else can you want from a gun? It is rapidly becoming like an old friend whenever I pick it up. Guess I'll have to name it pretty soon in order to formally adopt it into the family.
P.S. - with Federal 115 grain +P+ hollow points (9BPLE), I feel TOTALLY well armed with a weapon that can defend me and my family from just about anything that is likely to attack us in the U.S. (outside of a grizzly bear or large black bear). :-)

My all time favorite is still my first Glock, a G21 first gen. It has so much history.

I have had most Glock models at one time or another since the 1980's and I have settled on the G23 Gen 4. As others have said, it allows me to use three different cartridges with minor changes to the same platform...four if I include a .22 conversion kit. Its large enough to be comfortable to shoot with more powerful ammo and small enough to be fairly easy to conceal. The large frame Glocks, even Gen 4 and the SF versions are too big for my hand and the baby Glocks are easier to conceal but more difficult to shoot as well as the G23.

If I could only have 1, it would be a Glock 31 RTF2.
I'm glad that I don't have to choose just one. I have a useful need of both a full-sized and a compact-sized Glock.

Check that, I'd probably go with a G32 RTF2. I could more easily make the the 32 work in the other role than the 31.

I'd carry my Gen3 G19 stoked with 115gr +P+ Gold Dots.
In fact, that is what I am carrying as I type this.

I have a G31 next to me, with barrels in the safe.
If you guys were mean to me and said no conversions, then the G19. But that would be mean.
