Best AR red dot for the price!

I've Been in the market for awhile for a new red dot or similar optic for my s&w m&p 15.
I'm on a budget, well basically my 'ol lady says what money I can spend on guns. Haha

I'm looking for suggestions based on people's experiences And best sight for the money. So far primary arms micro dot is top of my list but of course it's sold out on their site.

I'm all ears on suggestions, thanks ahead of time!

Vortex makes a GREAT long range scope for a good price. If their red-dot is on par quality/price wise, it's gotta be a winner.

Checkout bushnells zoomdot. It's a helluva optic for the price. Got mine on Amazon. They're not ever talked about but the design was used in Afghanistan and it held up. It's a Mexican made optic but very good quality IMO. I just can't afford an aimpoint.

I have been looking at the Vortex I'm interested but I'd like to read more reviews on their stuff.

Any others I should look at?

Best for the money, by far, is the Aimpoint PRO. That being said, if that is too much, Vortex and Primary Arms make decent knock-offs (though they're still knock-offs).

I just happened to get on primary arms site yesterday and looks like I'll be ordering one! The micro dot. Although a knockoff it fits my price range

I bought a primary arms micro green dot when they first came out. I was so happy with it that I wanted to buy a couple more. I have never seen them in stock since I bought the first one.

I have a Bushnell TRS 25 on mine that I like so well I
have 1 on my S&W2215, Ruger .44 Carbine, Marlin 336
and my Mini 14. 3000 hour battery life, remains true and
you can find them for around $90 bucks.

This... I have it on my AR now. Build quality is great and it can cowitness if you get it with the extra high mount. For $150 you will not be disappointed.

I have two of the PA micro dots.
They are fantastic sights. I would say that it rivals my Aimpoint H-1, especially for the cost difference.

I have one on order. My research showed me this was the best value. The built-in mount saves relatively big bucks by itself.

Another vote for the Primary Arms micro dots. An excellent sight for the money. Also the Sig Sauer reddot is a good sight and you can usually find them used for a decent price.

I have 4 of the TRS-25s mounted on a .22 pistol, an AK, a 9mm carbine and a girlfriend's AR-15. I had one that was DOA, the others have been great.

What I'd really like is a IR 1x4 power scope that doesn't break the bank. Why is it that 3x9s are cheap, 2x7s are cheap, even 4x10s are cheap, but everyone that makes a 1x4 treats it like its solid gold?

I may have to look into this Lucid. Anyone who has one know if they can be used with an external magnifier instead of the screw in?

was "iffy" when I heard about primary arms a few years ago. but now have their mini red dots on 2 of my ars. they have been put thru their paces for sure and not had any problems with either of them. but have been looking at the vortex to put on my coyote rifle using an offset mount next to my nikon 3x9 bdc 600.
