Had my kitty put down this morning.
A sad day here. She had kidney failure :-(

I'm also sorry for your loss. I know how it hurts. I had my cat put down about a year and a half ago. He lived almost 18 years.

Sorry for your loss. We had to have our Tuxedo cat put to sleep a couple of months ago. She had stomach cancer. Still playful but bound up and in frequent pain. Heartbreaking.

Sorry for your loss. Currently dealing with the same thing. But, this cat's had 15 good years before his kidneys started to go. He's on borrowed time right now.

God bless you and your little friend. Your little furry friend is waiting for you at the Rainbow Bridge!
I'm sorry for your loss. But don't be too sad, you'll see her again someday!

I'm so sorry to hear that. I had to put my cat down for the same reason a couple of years ago. I broke down and sobbed like a little baby, right there in the vet's office.

I'm very sorry to hear that. We grow so attached to our pets that is truly devastating to watch them pass. Fortunately you can take some comfort in knowing that your kitty enjoyed a good life with an owner that cares...if that weren't the case, you wouldn't be saddened by the loss.

Sorry to hear about your cat/friend..... We lost a cat ( Bailey) to kidney failure about 5 years ago... We didn't even think he was particularly ill....
Cats often tend to hide their symptoms as long as they can, so by the time they actually act sick...they are really quite ill.
We have since got another cat , but every time he even looks a little out of sorts, my mind always goes back to Bailey. Always worries me...
Take care, mike
PS: Just noticed her photo.... Was this after a bath ( or rainstorm) ?? Her pupils are huge !! Our cats always look the same way after a bath.... ;-) Again , take care....

Very sorry. How old was she?
Mine is sitting on my lap right now. She'll go to her bowl and eat a bite or two then jump on my lap for a few minutes, then go eat another bite or two.

No dogs here, just two cats. Nothing warmer (in the animal kingdom) than a kitty on a cold night watching movies on the couch. Dogs slobber too much when they lay with you
Sorry for your loss :(

NEOH 212:
I wept as I watched/read "Till Then" remembering all the times I could have been a better master to my dogs and cats. They ask so little and give so much. They live for our love and affection in ways we humans can't imagine. The Bible says the beasts have no souls, but if God allows, I will have my beloved lost pets in the heavenly city. Sleep well Baron, Party, Mitzy, Bear, MC, Thomas, and my dear beloved Taz. Sleep well, and know your master still remembers and loves you.
If God allows dear ones, I will hold you again. I will hold you and love you. Again.

Sorry to hear about your pet, radam.
I remember English veterinarian, James Herriot, wrote in one of his books how he reassured one lady about her deceased pet. He told her that he believed that pets have the same kind of afterlife we do. That reassured her. I don't know if Herriot actually believed in any afterlife or not, but what he said was true as far as he was concerned. I believe that with God, all things are possible, so we may very well see our former pets again.
