Damn! I just skimmed this thread but why all the ED hate? Sounds like a pretty regular dude getting in some pickles every once in a while. Can't say I haven't been in my share.
Anyways I think the dad is an insecure ****** that can't handle that people may find his wife attractive. Perhaps he's having trouble holding on to her lately.
ED wasn't even looking at the wife therefore hothead husband was irate for no reason initially. In ED's defense he thought he was allowed to pursue daughter based on the families prior actions and comments the entire evening. Lighten up people.
So, again, why all the ED hate?

I'm old and have seen this kind of thing before. I wasn't there and didn't see what happened but I suggest that you take a look at how you relate to people.
I'm 66 , have a friendly manner, do not have a hard asx attitude but folks do NOT want to hit me. In fact, folks don't seem to want any part of a fight with me. What is it about your behavior that a stranger would want to hit you? Take a look at that. It's tough going through life with a target on your back.

Weird. I've not been punched since I was a kid, I've never had the cops called on me, never had anyone threaten to key my car, never had a neighbor yell at me, never had anyone bend my license plate etc. Most of that drama somehow misses me.
The common denominator in all of his drama is him. One could only conclude that he's instigates all of this trouble somehow, since this much drama does not happen to most regular people.

Just read every ******* post on here...holy **** that was amusing! I don't know nor care about the validity or accuracy of the posted events...it was a good read.
