Spyderco Endura or Delica
Benchmade Griptillian or mini Griptillian
Can't go wrong with any of the 4 for a budget EDC. Pick the size and shape you like best.

Visit bladeforums.com and investigate. Not a lot of respect for CRKT knives. The designs and quality are ok but the blade material is average at best. Look at Spyderco or Benchmade and you will not be dissapointed.

Don't forget Kershaw. I prefer their midlevel knives to Spyderco's, just my personal taste.

+1 for the Leek. It is my favorite EDC knife. Here in WA we have a lot of knife restrictions. In Seattle it's no fixed blades or in other cities near by no blade over 3". So the Leek for. Us elf is a good choice. I really don't like the way Spyderco knives open. Other than that the blade and design are great.

Glad to see they are making the Leeks and Blurs with S30V steel now.

I'm pretty sure the only S30V is the one with the G10 handle, this one was swapped into the stainless framelock handle. I'll be putting it in either a blue smoked handle like my red one, or back in the stock G10. We'll see.
After I get it squared away I'll be getting a couple of Blurs, probably tan, green, silver twill, and brown w/composite blade. Only one Blur has the S30V blade, and I'll likely swap the S30V blades into the colored handles as funds allow.
On the plus side, the blade swapping leaves me with extra complete (if non-factory) knives to use as gifts, already have a couple of Leeks ready to go for christmas

But it was a collaboration with Hinderer, why is it not as good?
