here is an artsy shot of my Gen 2 G23

...oh, and my LW 40-9 conversion barrel came in today with a G19 mag. can't wait to hit the range.

BTW: I've spent a bunch of time in Alaska, Juneau, Anchorage, Fairbanks and a few places in between. I can't think of a more beautiful place to live even in the winter. Great people and lots of fun things to do and places to see. If my wife could take the winter, I'd be there in a second.

Keep the gen 2 G23. I have a gen 3 g19 and a gen 2 G23. I prefer the grip of the gen 2.
