Israel and Palestinian militants
And it begins again...
Looks like the final straw for the Palestinian militants... 
Some folks just can't live next to one another....

If I showed up in your house and made you live in the hallway coat closet, how would you feel?
What about if you complained about it and our burly neighbor from the next town over showed up, knocked the hell out of you, and put a case of beer in the fridge, while you get fed table scraps in the dark?

God gave the land to the Jews 4,000 years ago. They have the longest and most legitimate claim to the land. "Palestinians" didn't even exist 100 years ago...its a modern artifact of British colonial occupation.
Go against God but stay away from thunderstorms. Just sayin'.

The Towelies have enough land all over the place, but due to their tribal xenophobia prefer to make out that the Palestinians are a distinct entity that they want nothing to do with, language, culture and religion notwithstanding. They prefer using them to allow Israel to be scapegoated and distract their masses' attention than actually integrating them in their societies.
Personally I don't buy the God and Bible stuff, but do believe that our claim on the land is legit, based on archaeology and history rather than a deity.
Oilboys and their sycophants like to portray Israel as the Bad Guys. Nothing new there. Now pass me the firing lanyard.

Yeah so if I wrote a book and said it was from "God" and in it I said I had claim to YOUR land, possessions, and dignity would you just concede those things to.me?

The people who the Israelis kicked out in 1948-49 had been there for generations. I'd say the statute of limitations had already run on that claim.

Import of oppressed Jews from Arab countries in the 1950s and 1960s, import of oppressed Jews from Ethiopia in the 1980s and the 1990s, disaster relief operations in Haiti, Philippines, Congo, Burma, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, El Salvador, Turkey, Rwanda and many more.

Israel "kicked out" the Palestinians out in 1948-49? Let's back up a bit..
The Ottoman Empire was defeated in WWI, and Great Britain gained control of the region we know today as Israel.
In 1948, the UN agreed to the formation of the independent State of Israel, as well as an Arab State of Palestine, which comprised about half of what we know as Israel today.
On May 14th 1948, David Ben-Gurion declared the establishment of the Jewish state. The next day much of the Arab world declared war on Israel, rejecting a plan which would have given them an independent Palestine.
The Arabs were defeated, and their chance at controlling Palestine vanished. How anyone can say that Israel is not a legitimate state and just "kicked out" these people simply doesn't understand the events that have occurred leading up to its formation.
Israel should of course take all measures necessary to ensure its survival. I can guarantee you they will never forget the despicable sneak attack launched on them by the Arab world on their most holy day in 1973 -- what we know today as the Yom Kippur war. If they ever let their guard down they will be wiped out, and they know it.
For the record, I am not Jewish -- I just happen to like facts.
