OK serious question: Why .22? And why supressed? I have a 10/22 and a Walther P22 are you telling me that I have good guns for zombies? I figured I would need something in a 7.62, shotguns, and vinyl records.

Zombies are squishy, and you only need a headshot, so a .22 works perfectly for that. You don't need some powerful .50cal weapon to be able to kill one. Also, carrying several thousand rounds of .22 is MUCH easier than carrying several thousand rounds of any other caliber.
Silencer is so that you can pick them off and the hoard won't know where you are shooting them from, so they won't come charge you.

I have to admit supressed would make a lot of sense. I also think lighter ammo (that would still do job) makes sense. (would a .22lr be enough?) esp out of pistol?
That 300 blackout (with lots of ammo) makes some sense. Can the 5.7 be supressed well?
For close range a 9mm supressed with 9mm pistol.

Why did you asked this question? I kinda don't get it.
I like the guns with fewest moving parts for zombies attack, so it won't get jammed.
1903A2 best bolt action rifle ever: .30-06 power; could adjust the sight up to 1km; bayonet; and wood frame.
Saw off shotgun: It is an awesome short range gun.
G17: It doesn't have a "failure" term in its dictionary.
