The mobile app I know nothing about, as far as Precision Delta, I order my bullets through them all the time and have for years. Service and quality of bullets are great and you just can't beat their prices.

I would not rate them as highly as Montana Gold or Zero. But they are good range bullets. You may find some are not as consistent in the nose profile. That was a recent report. I have had them come to me really oily as well. I tumbled them to get rid of the oil.

I use their 124 gr. FMJ 9mm. Work fine and shipping is quick. Can't beat the price either, unless you go cast.

I've used them as well. Last time I order 4K 40S&W FMJ's and have shot most of them with no problems thus far.

I shoot a lot of plated but when I need a FMJ especially in the 10/40, PD is where I go.

I reported an issue here a year or two ago with PD's 124gr FMJ bullets. It annoyed me that their CS basically just blew me off when I reported a QC issue to them (split jackets on their bullets), but I suppose when you have buyers for every last bit of product you can crank out, customer service and QC take a back seat to production and order shipping. That said, I still like and continue to order their bullets. For FMJ, I don't think the price can be beat. You can pay more for MG and maybe get a marginally better bullet, or pay more for Zero if you can find them in stock anywhere...or pay a lot more for the bigger brand FMJ's.

Lead with some kind of coating that's supposed to prevent lead build-up in the barrel. I've tried BBI (9mm) and Precision (.45acp). I haven't shot enough of either to have much opinion on them...but the test batches of 200gr .45acp I loaded were very accurate.

Someone's bound to chime in that plated is the best of both worlds (cheaper than FMJ, cleaner than moly). The only tumbling I've seen with my own reloads has been with plated bullets, and the same load that shoots fine from my G17 tumbles from my G34. I'll pay a little more and stick with jacketed bullets that work in all my guns.

Yes, they're lead bullets with molybdenum coating, which is like a hardened plastic or something. Basically makes the lead bullets not be as smokey, presumably safer (no direct lead exposure). Shooting, they are slightly smokier than jacketed, but much less than lead.

I buy Bear Creek 147gr 9mm for $37 per 500 which is $74 per 1000. I shoot 1000-2000 a month, that $30 per 1000 bullets saved is a free 1000 every 3000 I shoot. Hell yeah.

There are quite a few of the competition shooters around here that use them, mostly (like me) for financial reasons, but they shoot just fine.

They don't have a web site, you just call the dude. I've bought 20,000 in the last year or so, learned about them from some guys I shoot IDPA with who have been using them for years. He USED to have a web site, now I guess he's just word of mouth?

Mostly good comments but one "leave message and he doesn't call back " guy.. I've had him not answer once or twice but I just try back a little later. I've placed at least 4-5 orders totaling 20,000 rounds just since last fall, no problems. I've been very happy. My mail person, not so much. LOL

The guns I feed are several 9mm Glocks and a G30 and G21. I did some searching, and it sounds like his <230gr .45 bullets may not work so well in the G30. I've become a fan of lighter bullets in the .45 Glocks (mostly because when I shoot pins with them, I want velocity, but not recoil). The Precision 200gr and PD 185gr JHP both seem to work in both guns.

I could not find plated 9mm bullets any cheaper than Precision Delta's FMJs. Berry's came close, but still a couple cents more.

Though crimping has been discussed to death on this board, I prefer FMJ's to prevent "over crimping". DOC

The cost I quoted includes shipping. Even if his .45ACP didn't work for you, his 9mm prices are hard to beat.
By your 9mm from him, the .45ACP from PD or something? Just a thought.

Actually, maybe it was Bayou Bullets where the 200gr RN had a step to it and acted like SWC in a G30. I just looked at a site that had some of the Bear Creek, and his 200gr is a RNHB design that looks like ball ammo with a deep hollow base. I wonder how much more powder that requires vs HP and why they do a hollow base rather than nose.
