Almost talked myself into going back to work after my first back surgery. Fear can do a lot to you. Truth is I was getting worse and would soon have my second and now my third major back surgery.

I quit my pain meds as much as I can stand cause I'm trying to get ready to get out of this bed, Lots of pumping light dumb-bells and such without hurting myself. Man am I ready !

Thank you...I am desperate to work...2 years is a long time to be out of work. God is in control and will make me wait til He's ready for me to have a job, but in the meantime, I'm ready when the job is.

That is a long time, I hope you do get the job. But I really hope your back heals up well after the surgery!

Yeah, I do too. Not only for all the issues people in here are having, but for my own. It's been close to 4 years now, and I'm still having nightmares, dealing with guilt issues, and of course me chest still feels like............... well, you know.

I've got my trip pretty much planned/paid for. Looks like I'll be spending an extra day in Mobile, instead of just a few hours. Not that I mind that, I like the area. If the weather's nice I'll go to the beach. Then off to AZ for a few days. I did have to drop off the side trip to Knoxville, but am hoping to do that separately. Of course, I'm going to take a good supply of pain meds because of the flying part. I'm looking forward to seeing some of you, you know who you are.

Good news...I have another interview tomorrow...and if I get the job I wouldn't start until December 3rd at the earliest. It's a temp job, but if I get in and impress the bosses, it could easily lead to more temp jobs and/or a temp to hire. The boss says my resume "says it all about" my qualifications. She isn't concerned about that...just wants to make sure I will fit in with the others working on the project. I'm very excited about this opportunity!

Well, I'm excited...I'm hired as long as I pass the background check. Thankfully, my landlord helped me get there to the interview. My prayer needs are for the surgery next week...that I can get to and from my job without getting stopped or in an accident until I get paid and get insurance...and that I will have the gas to get to and from until I get paid...I'm so thrilled...this is AWESOME!

Hiya.

Don't mind me, I know I haven't been on much. I'm just trying to start feeling better, not doing so well in that area. All this time of not being able to do anything has caught up to me big time. I just ride to the grocery store and back, and I'm whipped. All this cold and changing weather isn't making my damn chest feel any better, either. I'm just fighting being depressed because I know I should feel at least a little better by now.

I'll be leaving on my AZ trip pretty soon, stopping in Mobile for a couple days first. That part of the trip is going to be longer then I'd originally planned, because the friend driving me down is going a day earlier than planned. I don't mind, I'll just take a taxi to the beach if the weather is nice enough. If not, that taxi can take me to a nice seafood place that's got a good bar.

Wolfe you need to come here and let us all know you are OK before we start to worry about you. I understand you wish you were feeling better but you have to be patient. You also have to push yourself to regain some stamina. I hope you enjoy your vacation.

I spent a chunk of mine riding in a car, and I'm now hanging out in Mobile. Hope the weather's nice tomorrow, I want to hang at the beach for a bit. I'm also trying to remember the name of the seafood restaurant that overlooks Mobile Bay. I may eat there tomorrow if I can find out the name.
