Just buy one. It'll be cheaper in the long run. A full ensemble at a department store (like Macy's) should be less than $500 for the tux, shirt, studs, cufflinks, cummerbund and tie.
But if you really only need it once, and don't much care how it fits, you can go... anywhere. David's Bridal. Wherever the kids get their prom tuxes nowadays.

IF there is a Goody's or Stage's store in your area they have tux rentals. There is usually at least 1 in every mid sized town for Proms and such.
