Thanks again everyone. All your prayers are refreshing.and appreciated.

Weekdays and Saturday for Da Law are busy. They let him rest on Sunday. He's still making little improvements.

Mrs. Da Law is doing better, but, there still little things that can bring the emotions flooding back. Today is a month since the event. She and the boys spent time with Da Law today.

The youngest still cries for his Daddy. The oldest is doing a bit better. Last month he was top student in his class academically.

Every time I communicate with Mrs. Da Law she reminds me to thank all of you for the continuing prayers, so, thank you all!

I wish I could say that Da Law, ahh heck, his name is Mike, I wish I could say that Mike was responding well, talking, hugging his kids...can't.

He is responding a bit to intensive therapy.

I'm going to see him Sunday.

I went to buy a card for Mike and his wife. The Hallmark store does not have LE specific cards. The lady helping me took me to the get well section, I started telling her the story. She started looking at cards, well, I was having a bit of a problem focusing, allergies, you know. She found this card....

There's no doubt this is hard.

There are questions,

"What ifs,"

hurts,

doubts,

But I know you.

I know you've come through hard times before,

and you'll come through this one, too.

And what's more,

I know you'll be even stronger for it -

deeper in understanding and even more certain of your good place in this world.
Yeah, that's appropriate for both of them.

Please continue the prayers.

We have all of you in our prayers, for safety, for strength to do the job, for harmony at home, for health, for at least one good thing every day to remind you all why you carry the shield, the badge, the star...why you do this job, this calling.

He said it. I'm sure Mike and his wife will appreciate the card, and I know they appreciate everything you're doing for them.

I cannot say much right now other than things are not good. I'll know more tomorrow night.

Please, please pray for miracle healing for Mike and strength for his family and friends.

Thank you...

The Thin Blue Line, the line between good and evil. The line often between life and death of innocents. The line always representing the bond. Bond? Yeah, between brothers & sisters in blue, brown, or Green, the uniform Da Law wears. The line that surrounds a LE family in need. The line, the Thin Blue Line.
Tonight, we need the Line...

The damage to Mike's brain is far, far worse than previously known. The little progress he made has disappeared.

A few years back, riding with him one night, he told me, if he ever was in the condition he is in now, where there is no hope for any recovery, he just wanted to go. His family is honoring that decision.

Please, now, pray for Mike to be at peace and his family consoled and supported.

Mike's wife and his twin brother asked me to express their great appreciation for all the support here for them. I add my thanks and appreciation, too, but, then, y'all know that...

Russ

I'm so sorry, my friend.

May the Lord bring peace to his family and ease His servant home.

Prayers sent, of course.

I just went through this myself, and understand the pain you're feeling. If there's anything I can do, I'm just a PM away. I mean that.
