Wow, look at all the internet tough guys. So tough, you have to let everyone know it, rather than ignore the bait. Like voluntarily reading a thread entitles you let everyone know how badly you wish these things upon poor ED, who for some reason keeps having crazy things happen to him. I think I like ED. Seems like a funny guy. Between his shenanigans and the tough guys that inevitably get sucked in, it makes for good entertainment. ED disgraces Marines  No, ED is a model Marine that fits right in!

It's hard to believe a real person said that. It sounds more like bad writing by someone trying to convey the gist of a story. It's too dry and doesn't convey the emotion of someone about to throw a punch.
So work on your character development and then dialogue.
