Liberal Pro-Gun Group
Interesting, but it just goes to show that there is a range of views, and not just two groups...

Impossible...everybody knows only Republicans can be pro-gun and only Democrats can be pro-choice.
Oh, wait...I'm both, so where does that leave me?

Yup. Being a gun owner and voting democrap is like being jewish and being a member of the Nazi party. You are basically voting for your own destruction.

What you and ilgunguygt don't understand is that there are more issues than just firearms.

Then we have libs pretending to be conservatives and now libertarians and a couple that pretend to be gun owners. It's one one big cornucopia of fun.

Thats why despite me being a registered republican, when someone asks I am neither. I believe in the republican idea of smaller government and less gov intervention and such and of course the gun thing but I am strongly pro choice and pro equal rights. Im also very against any religion influencing law. I dont give a **** what the bible says. Not in my daily life so definately not in the laws forced upon me. I guess I consider myself pro freedom in most cases. I think laws should be in place to protect you from other people doing wrong to you and thats it.

You got that right. They are not "pro-gun" when they support anti-gun politicians.

Take a look at the DU gun form, there are plenty of liberal gun owners. They're routinely attacked by the hoplophobes with in their own party.
The problem with liberal gun groups and liberal gun owners is they tend to champion and vote for politicians who gleefully want to ban not only their guns, but yours and mine too.

There are many things about the republican platform I disagree with, I vote for them because they support the majority of causes that are important to me and the democrats support the majority of causes that I oppose. They may be pro gun, but you can bet that is not the most important issue to them.

You must be one or the other. Can't be both.

The occasional liberal gun owner is a person who has a gun or two, but wouldn't be bothered much by giving them up. They vote based on gun control like I vote based on the capital gains tax (I don't own stock).

I am both. I vote pro-gun because I don't really care about abortion. Guns are my #1 issue. A candidate who is anti-gun is against me.
