Glock 31C Trigger Help....

I recently installed a 3.5# connector, striker spring and trigger spring. My "Trigger Safety" does not fully engage when the trigger resets. Is this because of the lighter springs or something else? I don't recall this problem befor I installed them, other than that the gun functions perfectly and I love the trigger pull. I would like to know what part/parts I can purchase and install to correct this if any.
Thanks for your help

Hmm, I've never seen this problem before, but this is what I would do: with the gun fully unloaded rack the slide and pull back on the sides of the trigger without touching the trigger safety. The trigger safety should prevent the gun from dry firing; then pull the trigger normally and it should dry fire. You say that the gun otherwise functions perfectly, so if it passes the test I gave you, then I wouldn't worry about it.

What specific part? Have you fired the gun? After you dry fire and then manually cycle the slide can you pull the trigger forward and then the trigger safety is engaged? If the answer is yes then you installed something wrong or (more likely) a faulty part.

not sure if the spring that connects to the connector would cause your problem, but i know there is a certain way that spring has to sit and it's easy, at least for me, to not have it in the right place/orientation.

IIRC, the end of the spring at the backside of the gun is facing up and the front of that spring is facing down, and at the bottom of that plastic piece is a small groove the front coil sits in.

i always pull out another of my glocks when changing stuff around so i can visually see where stuff goes during reinstallation.
