Oh that is why! I got a flaky 3.5 LWD connector! Man...what a disappointment! Is it worth the shipping to send it back? I dropped in a Ghost connector to replace it. It looks like there is some sort of plating on this metal that is flaking off? Has anyone else had this problem?

My lone wolf connector sucked. Got a ghost and it's great. I talked to them. They said to send it.back. but why bother.

never tried lone wolf connectors, but both of my rocket connectors are perfect in both of my guns!

I bought an LWD 3.5 connector several years ago and didn't care for it. The little protruding tang (tab??) which rides on the cammed portion of the slide was too pronounced and created a very noticeable resistance to racking the slide. All of my Glocks which have non-stock connectors have the Glock 3.5 unit (part #00135) purchased from GlockParts.com.

I got one like that a few years ago--they replaced it for free. Just give them a call and they'll likely have one in the mail tomorrow for you. FWIW, I had a factory Glock extractor depressor plunger have the same issue--Glock replaced that one too

While working for Glock, I saw literally a ton of crappy triggers due to Lone Wolfs trigger connectors. Total junk, like most of their products.

Ship it back to get a replacement. List the new one in the classifieds to help recoup what you spent on it.

This problem has been common to way too many LWD connectors for quite awhile now. I guess I got lucky with mine because, after a little judicious polishing, the ones I've got work perfectly. The one in the above pictures, however, looks like crap. The last time I asked, 'Don' at LWD to correct two mistakes HE MADE on a small parts order, he told me to, 'Just buy more parts rather than ship what I had back to them on my nickel.' That might have been a perfect solution for him; but it wasn't a perfect solution for me!

Just get the standard Glock 3.5 and you won't have any issues.

That's the LWD CS I was talking about. They've always stood behind their products in my experience.

I've thought of filing down that little tang in order to have a better slide rack. I instead tossed it in the trash and bought OEM "-" connectors for all my Glocks.

I figured all after market connectors were like the Lonewolf with lousy slide racking. Maybe I'm wrong on that one. I hope the Lonewolf Extractor I just ordered isn't as poorly executed as their connector.

I have Ghost connectors in both my Glocks. If I had that problem, I would give Lone Wolf a chance to make it right.

This was my experience as well. The good news is that I just replaced it with a Ghost Rocket and could not be happier!!!

FYI: The extended tab you are referring to was introduced a few years ago. It created a noticeable "click" that could be felt in the trigger when the gun cycled and the trigger reset. The reaction to this feature was around 50/50 positive so we removed it from future production.
Current production connectors do not feature the extended tab.

I've just had similar experience with the extended slide stop I received from LWD on Friday, out of spec. Might be something to be said lately about quality control.

Looks typical of the cheap plating I still see being done in many parts of China. I have a LWD connector in a junk box right now because of gritty trigger feel. The plating wasn't flaking off it is just poor finishing IMO. I only ordered it because I was making a big order from them for some Glock OEM items and figured it was cheap enough to try. Not too big a waste of money at least.

I have moved quite a few LoneWolf connectors, and they have been flawless.

Love the Ghost - except when you cut that little tab just a bit too short... and it's never the same from pistol to pistol. I have 2 Ghost rockets, neither tab survived.

Got the LoneWolf Overtravel stop, works awesome!

It sucks when stuff breaks, or shows up "unacceptable"... but it happens - and here is YOUR Guarantee:

Mass produced or not, you would think a company that was supposed to be selling parts that are supposed to be better than stock would be.

Glock OEM or Ghost. Pass on Lone Wolf, at least on the connector.
