Just back from "Taken 2."
Pretty much a continuing storyline from the first one. I'd ballpark it a 90minute movie excluding the previews and such so it's a good runtime. I'm not a fan of those 2 or 2.5 hr movies. I think the violence was a bit toned down from the first one but overall if you liked the first one you'll like the second one.
And still why don't they let Maggie Grace be blonde? She looks so much better as a blonde it's amazing.

I thought the 1st could have been done in 15 minutes.
I was NOT a fan.

I seen Taken 2 yesterday. It was good, but IMO the first one was much better. Considering the ending I wonder if they are thinking of a Taken 3. I hope not because I wonder how many more Albanians are left for him to kill.

From what I've read, the writer (Luc Besson) has stated that this one will be the only sequel.
I haven't seen it, but I'm skeptical. I think the first one stood on its own.

I really enjoyed the first one, but second one was too korny. A lot more of the girl (not a good thing) and her acting is subpar. My wife thought it was the worst movie ever. I dont recomend it.

I read reviews. I'll wait for it on Netflix instant downloads. Should be there in a couple weeks. I'm just surprised (based on reviews) it didn't go straight to DVD.

I thought the first one was ok, but I give it 5 stars for springing it on my unsuspecting wife right before our daughter when to Paris as an exchange student.
So I'm a wee bit sadistic

They didn't quit making Jurassic Park movies just because Michael Crichton quit writing JP books...

I've never seen good reviews for a good movie, it's always those foreign films that get the good ones and the really good movies bomb from reviewers.
I prefer to get info from normal people. Again, if you liked the first one, you'll like the sequel.

What I wanna know is if he has a certain skillset, why the hell do his family members keep getting taken?!
We liked the first one and will see the second one most likely on DVD. I hardly go to a matinee now and never go to the movies on a Fri or Sat night.

I just saw Taken on Fx Network (I'm behind the times) and it was just what I expected.
As always, it sucks to watch edited for TV movies as when Peter jumps off the ramp and onto the truck and lands on the street, he is not dead. They cut to a close up of Liam Neeson and then a commercial. Later, Neson says "he's dead" meaning Peter, but I didn't know that as it was edited.
How did Neeson know about 'Mr McCaan' when he went to shake down the Albanians and used Jean Claude's business card to gain entry?
I'll have to go see Taken 2 now.

Why is it that all eastern European bad guys wear those cheesey warm-up suits?

I still say, in proper Hollywood lingo, it should have been titled, "Taken: Again!"
