Specially the .45 people. Beretta 8 rounds; Glock has 13 in the G21 magazine.
How many Glock 21 are in LE hands? Plenty!!
If Beretta used a cradle in the CX4 grip which then would accommodate the different magazines Beretta would have had a big seller.

Consider that the cops are all going to M4-type as carbines, the point is moot.

It is fun to shoot. I took my 11 yr old son out yesterday to shoot the AR-15, the .22 and the Storm. And with the Storm he was shooting it at 10 yards and was tearing up the 5x on the silhouette. It was fun to see him doing so well with it and the smile he had was worth the cost.....He did well with all three but was dead on with the Storm using the Tru-glo green dot.

Lots of disinformation for one thread.
The CX4 is not disco'd, they had a 30k unit order to fill with the Indian National Police. The INP ordered MX4s, which are a select fire variant with 30 round mags.
The CX4 has a version that takes PX4 magazines.
The CX4 is the best factory PPC going.
Asking Beretta to make a Glock mag compatible version is like asking Ducati to make a super bike that will ready mount a Honda Gold Wing's gas tank.

Funny Beretta does not list it anywhere.

You're kidding right... Just scroll down and hit the link that Says px4 mags.
Also they sell a gizmo that allows for the conversion from 92 mags to px4 mags

It takes the px4 mags, just needs a little insert in the magwell (or mag well, not sure), thats why its not listed as a different model, just an accessory. Link:

why would i not compare them.?. they are both carbines..the keltec is very reliable, fun, accurate, and ergonomic. as well is the beretta.. i would say its like comparing a porsche to a ferrari. they both work as advertised, except one is italian and very over priced...how could u call a weapon that functions flawlessly and accurately a P.O.S? .............i never mentioned a hi-point. hey if u wanna spend more money than necessary to do the same thing have at it. u might as well buy a desert eagle while ur at it....oh wait....

It's like comparing a chevy aveo to a Ferrari.
Theyre both cars... They'll both get you somewhere but one does it with quality and style and the other is a bottom of the line piece of #%^*.
There are of course buyers for both.

I love them, they are one of the most perfect(for ME) shouldering weapons ive ever handled. almost like when you get a custom fit shotgun stock made for ya and when you shoulder it it just comes to the shoulder well just perfectly. This was one of those guns for ME that did that right out of the box stock. the ONLY reason I dont own one is their cost I think its a $500 gun they think its more I wont pay AR $$ for a 9mm rifle(id just get the AR) but if I could find one for a decent price down the road id not hesitate to grab it.

Even $600 would be reasonable... but I don't regret paying more vs the kel tec.

I remember when these first came out. Saw one at a hunting store once - it was about $550 at the time. I so wanted that gun, but couldnt afford it at the time. Now, nearly 15 years later, I'd kill for that price especially now that my wife has the Px4.

Stumbled on this in a google search.
i've got 2. 9mm and 45. They've pretty much sat in the back of the safe since around 2003/04. Now I'm interested in them again, primarily the 9mm.
I'm bout to pull my hair out trying to understand the magazine situation. They were designed to accept three different mags over the years. 8000/Cougar, 92/96 and px4. You can buy inserts to convert the mag well to accept different types but it isn't completely clear that you can go from any one to any other.
Specifically, I want to buy some mags and I have a model with the 8000/cougar well. Not clear which is the best of the 3. Not clear if I can convert the 8000 well to either of the other 2. I see a converstion to px4 but not 92/96 or I misread.
Anyone know? Driving me nuts
