Weapon light holster...

I'm thinking about picking up a weapon light for my G23. Looking into the Streamlight TLR's... I'm considering carrying it with the light mounted on it depending if I like the way it runs after handling it for sometime.

My question is this though. Does anyone have a reccomendation for a holster that will accept my G23 with a mounted light? I've looked all over and mostly all I find is custom made ones IWB and OWB (Which isn't out of the question, I'm just looking at all options).

Let me know if you guys have any suggestions, links are welcomed and appreciated.

I have a Aker Nightguard for my P220 with TLR-1. Its a very high quality holster and fits the gun/light combo nicely.

http://www.copquest.com/24-5700.htm

I cant imagine actually trying to carry it, be like trying to conceal a box of cornflakes. I just use it to cover the trigger guard on my nightstand gun and tote it around securely in and out of the truck and at the hunting camp.

I would probably stick to what I do now and carry a Streamlight Polytac in my pocket for carrying in the summer. But early spring, all fall, and all winter, I could probably get away with the bigger holster and gun/weapon light.... I like what I see with Raven Concealment...

Bravo Concealment is great. I just got mine in the mail Saturday. I was going to take some pics and post a review in the next day or so after I wore it for a while. It is for my G19 with a TLR-1s. IWB with the J hooks. In Desert Tan. I love it and its actually pretty comfortable. I will SUB to this thread and post pics as soon as my girlfriend gives me my camera back.

I have a few safariland OWB ones. Also NTAC holsters can make an all kydex one in shorter time then raven.

You say that it isn't to bad to carry it with that holster? It doesn't look to be all that bulky and seems like with the J-Hooks it would probably stay pretty firm on your hip.

I like what I see. Do you happen to have a link to it?

It's not too bulky. I'm a big dude (240lbs) so that helps but I also just wear iwb I rarely owb. It is bravo concealment.com. Sorry I'm using my iPhone and its hard to link stuff. It did take 5.5 weeks to get.

Ask away if you wan to know anything else.

I would IWB carry it predominately, and if I felt it would be concealed well I would probably give it a shot at OWB. Obviously OWB is generally more comfortable, but IWB isn't to bad anyways. First things first though, gotta get a weapon light.

A humble Fobus paddle holster with a light cutout has been giving me handsome service for my G17, followed by my CZ Shadow and CZ Phantom.

I have DSG Arms Alpha holsters for my G20/G21 and G23 with the TLR-1 combo. Same type as the Raven, but a 3-5 day waiting period. Completely happy with it.

I am going to avoid this problem. When I get the tritium sights installed on my G17, it will go well with my Surefire 6P flashlight.

I have Ravens for my G-19's and G-30's and G-30 SF's and like them very much.

I also have purchased the Garret Industries Silent Thunder's for our Glocks. The Silent Thuders are Kydex - leather lined - I like them very much.

You can't go wrong with either of these manufacturers.

I was looking for another raven concealment when i stumbled upon an ad in the GT classifieds for x-concealment holsters. Turn around time for production is 48 hours. Save yourself some money too, every bit the quality. I wont buy another rcs holster now, a 5 month production weight is ridiculous for kydex when there are other options out there now.

i have a regular OWB holster from Personal Security Systems. very good quality and the wait isnt nearly as long as Raven. I got the signature series with a bit different cut to allow better acess to pockets and such.

i also am having them do a custom light holster for me right now which will be a signature cut as well but hold my glock 17 and insight wl1-aa weapon light. Raven is the only one that has the WL1-aa light on their site but im not waiting forever and paying more when i can get better quality and a custom order cheaper.
