anyone else see a correlation?

I happened across this today -- it's from a Pew Research study.

Would anyone care to comment on the meaning of the obvious correlation?

Yep. A lot of people pull their political beliefs from the pulpit. They find it so much easier than thinking for themselves which explains why they're sitting in church in the first place.
