Nice pistol. Glad for you. I prefer the G Model, but any 92 is still a good pistol to me.

Congrats on your M9! When money permits, I'll be in the market for a 92A1.

Range Report:
took the M9 to the range saturday........
i have owned shot several 92fs pistols but this is my first M9......
this pistol is "different"....and i mean that in a good way.......
first of all the trigger, while in single action mode on the 92fs it is almost flush with the back of the frame, with very little space for the single action pull........on the M9 the trigger seems to not be as close to the frame, leaving ample room for my trigger finger to "pull"......
the sights, first time i have eve shot a pistol without the "three dot" sights....i REALLY like the rear vertical "post" sight......MUCH better than the 92fs and WAAAYYYYY much better than the 92fs Inox red three-dots :(
the grips are also, at least to me, a little different....i seem to have more of a firm-grip compared to a regular 92fs......
im really impressed with this gun and it is definitely a keeper......500 flawless rounds and not one hiccup on its maiden-voyage

The dot-post sighting system was very popular with the Germans back in the 1980s.
I usually just tune out all the white & red fillings.

They almost sound like you, when you talk about glocks.

That you're probably shooting at an indoor range and brass is bouncing off walls, yet you're too embarassed to fess up?

How many recoil springs did they have to issue for the m9 to work right?

Congratulations! I've had a 92FS for over 18 years and love it. I'm kinda hooked on my Glock pair now, but I still take it to the range. Great fun!

I own a GLOCK as well, but you will never get a GLOCK to shoot as softly, balance as well, or have as crisp a trigger as a 92.
