I have noticed a lot of RMR glock's here but whomever has a RMR Glock with a Cerakoted slide and stippling done, please post a picture! I need color ideas from everyone.
Is Nickel chrome a pain in the butt? Too many fingerprints? Does it hold up well? My glock 27 is a CCW that I have with my everyday so which ever finish i choose needs to hold up!
Cerakote or Duracoat?
I was thinking the same thing as Dan but YOLO.
I have my RM07 to be delivered on Tuesday. And I will send it to Mark @ L&M on Wed. At the same time, I will drop off the lower locally to Dale Hunnicutt to get my grip reducition done. Hopefully they will both be finished around the same time.

socialwork911,
it has never came up have u asked Mark @ L&M? 928-445-3405 510-396-0849 (cell)
My glock is a gen3 27, when we talked over the phone, the gen never came up.
TSD will do other slides expect Lone wolf
http://www.onesourcetactical.com/tsd...x#.UGekPBgUzx4
Lone wolf won't do any GLock OEM slides!
http://www.lonewolfdist.com/Detail.a...56471&CAT=3705
Glockworx- doesn't mention anything about gen 4
http://www.glockworx.com/Products.aspx?CAT=3720
Not sure what Doug @ ATEI would say...
Did I miss anyone?

I don't know if you meant my finish when you mentioned "nickel chrome" (it's actually electroless nickel and boron- Cera Plate II from CCR)...not any harder to clean than the original GLOCK slide was...
by the way...CCR advertises on this Forum and often offers the job for the slide (refinish, not the milling I got at One Source Tactical) with quick turn around at a fair price...

Send Mark your gen 4 slide, and he will do what you want to it. He also offers complete pistols for sale with RMR packages, I don't think he sells pre made slides.

Check gunbroker, they usually have some. You could buy a used one and send it off.

Gunbroker has some decent deals on NIB Trijicon RM07 $474-$479 buy it now price. It beats Brownells dealer price, or anywhere else on the web that I could find.

Just buy another gen 4 Glock as a spare, only a couple bills more than a slide.

Really?? I think I can see them bouncing off of the sight quite regularly. Kinda tough to tell for certain in the vid I guess,,,, but it's not hard to see them bouncing off of the shooter's forearms.

It is a good price but I had Mark breakdown the price if you did his package price.
It worked out to be $485.
So the $470 plus $15 to ship thru gunbroker would be moot. Any it would take longer since u have to wait for them to ship the RM07 to u and then u ship slide and RM07 to Mark.
So I'd say, just buy from Mark!

Why would I want to send a slide in to be milled when I can buy a TSD slide ready to go for $269 shipped.

The Fast Fire is a great little sight,,, just more bang for the buck with the RMR IMO. The FF also seems to eat batteries as well. I just installed my third battery in my FF 2. I've been to the range with it about 7 times,,, about an hour a session with the sight on the entire time. The first one went so fast I thought I must have left it on,,, the second went just as fast, and I know without a doubt that I've not left it on,,, been payin real close attention since the first battery went bye bye.
My FF2 is a 3.5MOA. WAY too small IMO. I have a 7MOA RMR and a 7 MOA Insight that looks more like a 9MOA. I would stick with a 7 - 9 for anything inside of 25 yards,,, and that pretty much falls in line with everything I've read on the dot size on a pistol sight.
Hope that helps.

Really, just like on rifles I much prefer a small moa dot. If I want it bigger, I crank the brightness till it blooms. Thats why I chose the rm06 rmr for my milled slide. Having a bigger dot covers too much of my target when aiming at smaller thing further out. Just my preference, I know I'm on the minority on this.
That being said, I think I'm going to sell my Gen 4 OEM G23 TSD milled slide and RMR combo. I still prefer shooting irons even though I shoot faster and more accurately with the rmr.

well i see u have a 19... Brownells also sell those for 17's
But i have a 21sf and a 27, so that option wouldn't work for me.
I guess it's not critical, but OST mills it straight vs Mark curves the milling to fit the RMR perfectly.
No way a deal killer... if i had a 19 i would probably do the same.
