I use a speed loader at the range... just about every mag I load up. It's so much easier, and less painful on my fingers.

My Dr. is funny. One time he was examining my thumbs and remarked "you are doooomed" I will operate on you before you retire. I just told him to give me another cortisone shot .

UpLula for pistol mags and .223s are sooooo easy to use and fast. My first were ~18.00 and now up to ~26.00. Well worth the price. I have three, one for the reloading bench, one in the "office" and one in the truck for anyone to try out. With care, you can reload most single stack mags with these.

Interesting. Nobody has ever given me grief about using my UpLula Mag Loader. In fact just the opposite has happened on many occasions!

A seriously overpriced UpLULA is one of the most useful pistol shooting tools I own. While I continue to think that plastic couldn't possibly be worth that much, ($35-$40.00) nothing else I've ever tried could load a pistol magazine that easily or fast. I own 3 of them; but, I rarely pick one up without thinking to myself: 'I got 'a be paying for the technology because it sure ain't in the plastic!'

I don't think I've ever heard anyone complain about any speed loader. Anyone who says they enjoy hand loading a high capacity mag by hand needs to have there head examined.

I hate loading brand new double stack magazines to full capacity. it cuts my range session short due to sore fingers. I am ordering an uplula loader

Wouldn't be without my uplula for any mag. But especially for my five 19 round G17 mags I use in USPSA matches. I also like it for my PM9, no cuts on my thumb. Want to get one for the AR's too. I didn't have a problem with the Glock loader it's just you still have to push the round back into place were with the uplula they just fall right in. A guy at a match let me try his out and I was hooked. Seems like a lot of cash but it's well worth it. More time shooting less time loading!

In definitely in the 'pro' speed loader camp.
Glock stock ones work great once you get your technique down.
I've also had to deal with arthritis in my hands so they are a nice tool for people like me.

I have both the larger and smaller caliber UpLula and swear by them.
I also have their .223 version.
Never load a mag without them.

Weird. I've never had an issue loading pistol mags. Not for me I guess.
