Turnout will be the key. While Walker supporters (like myself) have been less vocal than the recall crowd, the turnout at the primary was surprising to me. If there are substantially more Barrett votes than all challengers combined come the 5th, I'd suspect shenanigans. I've got a few acquaintances on the recall side, and they don't seem nearly as motivated as last year for the whole thing, especially with the lack of national-level support.

The wife voted yesterday. I read what's going on in Greece & Spain, then look closer to home in IL & CA with dismay. Here we have a Gov who has made some tough choices to avoid future disaster & he gets a recall election for it. WI State workers still enjoy a higher benefit package than neighboring states, per a recent comparison.

Here's a funny for you, recently Gov Quinn of IL proposed IL state workers contribute to retirement at a % higher than the Walker reforms. Of course without structural changes it's meaningless long term.

Thanks again for WI concealed carry, which Barrett is strongly against.

Passing the Concealed Carry Bill is yet another reason to vote for Walker...

I see WI's not 'blue' any more. I hope we can do it again in Nov.
