Despite my busy schedule naks i've been reading about modern combat and warfare
Isa sa effective na ginawa nila sa Iraq to catch insurgents and disrupting supplies were mobile checkpoints
Mobile as in palipat lipat , random place and random schedule in a single night
It keeps the bad guys guessing and nervous, and it needs minimum personnel kung malaki ang lugar/city/town/barangay na babantayan

Di ba pwede gawin yan ng PNP dito?
Considering that they say bumababa ang crime rate during elections when madami checkpoints

Problem is, how do we know if the checkpoint is legit or otherwise?

Hopefully the mobile checkpoint catches all the fake checkpoints
Seriously, problema na ng officials yan how to distinguish alin ang totoong checkpoint
Anyway, pag election meron naman talagang checkpoint whether we like it or not
Just make it all year round and make them random

I noticed this is being done, only for motorcycle checkpoint. Pero I agree with the concept.

Sa iraq, the checkpoint could be as short as 15 min then lipat na at baka sila ma ambush or mawarningan agad mga ibang insurgents by motorists who encounter the checkpoints

Ang hirap din pala Sir. Sila na nga yung checkpoint and sila mismo ay may kinatatakutan. I guess suicide bombers is one.
